Demo Mode in SMC 5.0

Loading ...Another important enhancement in SMC 5.0 that has not been covered in the Feature Previews post series: the Demo Mode.
Suppose you have to show StoneGate Management Center functionalities to somebody to help him, illustrate an implementation plan or just play a bit with configuration and usability “from a Security Administrator perspective”, then Demo Mode is your friend.
When you install SMC, you can click on Demo Mode as shown below:
The Demo Mode is fully functional, but cannot be upgraded.
You’ll have access to product downloads, free evaluation support and absolutely no fee for evaluation.
Once installed, you can login into SMC using user demo and password demo; the SMC will look as follows:
You can then navigate, check how configurations have been made, push a policy, refresh it… you can even extend the configuration, since there are couple of licenses in “unassigned” state and then everything will work smoothly.
