StoneGate 5.0 allows you to customize your own action shortcuts to elements’ right-click menus.

You just need to create a “Tools profile” element and assign that for those engines, hosts, routers and servers you want to enable the actions for. Note that actions are run in the client side. That means, if you specify for example the address of your SSH application in the action shortcut, that action does not work on your colleagues computer unless he has the same SSH application installed in the same directory in his computer.

Here are some ideas what kind of action shortcuts you could add for your elements:

• Open SSH connection to this element
• Open this element’s support/help page in the web browser
• Ping this element
• Run traceroute for this element’s IP
• Open the console/cmd and run any custom command there…
