StoneGate Management Center 5.0 introduces a brand new Report Designer view that replaces the old Reporting Manager. Stored Reports and Report Designs can now be found from the Configuration – Monitoring view.

The Report Designer lets you modify the properties for the whole report, individual report sections and report items. It also introduces a new tool that helps you to find the correct statistics items among the hundreds of statistics items the SMC provides. The same tool also intelligently avoids user from selecting conflicting items for the same report section.

SMC 5.0 also lets you to preview the Report Designs without even saving the design to the database. This makes ad hoc troubleshooting with reports easy and efficient.

For the novice users who find building custom Report Designs too complex, we also provide lots of Report Design Templates, Overview Templates as well as shortcuts to most interesting statistics. E.g. scheduling of Firewall Daily Summary requires only a couple of clicks from the user.
